Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hey, I was wondering, does anyone know where September went?
It's almost over, how DID that happen?

What I wish I knew was . . . WHEN are the cooler temps coming my way?
Almost October and it was 90 something today, crazy!!

{ cracked }
You know that saying, some things aren't all they're cracked up to be?
Well, that's not something I will ever say about a shell, cracked or not.
I simply love the character of a cracked, broken shell.
My reason why . . . coming soon to a blog post near you! ; )

{ fallen }
I've fallen and I can't get up . . . well thankfully they do get up. But fall they must in football!

{ ordinary color }
Green, it's everywhere and could be considered an ordinary color, plain and undistinguished,
but it can be quite extraordinary, especially it multiple shades AND when the resurrection vine
is growing on 300 year old trees. I grabbed this from my Florida vaca archives....

{ bokeh }
La vida bokeh (the bokeh life), not to be confused with la vida loca . . . the crazy life!

My Sunday Best

{ fence }
As in don't fence me in . . . let me run wild and free!

 And there you have it, another Scavenger Hunt Sunday under our belts!
Until next time,

Love, Kim
XO

We've been teased with cooler weather, too. It was in the 90's here. It did not seem like fall at all.

Love the bokeh and the cracked shell. Well, you know I love them all, but those two are my faves.

Oh, I love shells, too - broken or not! They're the ears of the sea, filled with wisdom (or at least I like to think so). :)

Lovely photos, as always! Have a great week, Kim.

Wow, Kim! That Ordinary Color photo is amazing. You captured both the strength and the softness of those trees. And the shades of green are stunning.

You did a great job with this hunt and your photos. The orange flower...LOVE orange flowers! I would like to be so organized as you, pulling this all together. Maybe this winter, when I am in the house and it's pouring rain outside.

Great job with this week's SHS prompts, Kim! What an action shot on the football field. Everytime I go back to look at it I see something new.

Wow on the 300 year old tree. The bokeh colors are so vibrant. Both captures are beautiful!

If you find out where September went - let me know as I want it back. ; )

That Bokeh shot - oh my. Like a big shot of adrenaline to start the day.

Looking forward to your future post about cracked shells. Literally - I used to be one that only picked up what my eye saw as "perfect" and leaving the rest to break up into more sand. After living more of a thoughtful life I enjoy seeing what a rough and tumble life a shell can have and the beauty that still remains or wasn't there in the beginning!
Happy Weekend!

I know what you mean about September going so fast. I don't know where this year is going. We aren't suffering from high temps though - a bit chilly here.
I love your bokeh shot - it is beautiful. :)

Beautiful collection. My favorite is the Bokeh shot - the amazing detail and the way you have captured the delicate translucency of the petals. The beauty of the saturated orange against that pale green bokeh. Fabulous!
