Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I have been wanting to participate in Ahsley Sisk's 'Scavenger Hunt Sunday' for weeks, but
before I know it it's Sunday and I just can't pull it together. Well, it was yesterday before I thought about it again, so here is my quick put together of the prompts. Hopefully I'll start a bit earlier next week!


1. Stairs

I love these stairs in Galveston. They actually remind me of something you may find in Europe,
although I've never been. Add that to the bucket list.....

2. Macro


Another similar shot to one from this week - used all the other macro shots on Friday - should have saved one!


3. Clouds


Okay, had to cheat on this one since I waited too long to think about it. There were some great looking clouds that came in tonight though from Tropical storm Lee, however we were at the football game under the umbrella as the 25mph winds blew in the rain. Right before that the sun was setting and casting a beautiful glow and at the same time there was a rainbow, a double rainbow, sigh! It's a good thing I left the camera in the car  . . .

4. Abstract


Not sure what it is, but I have an obsession with spider webs lately - they're just intriguing!


5. Smile

My beautiful mom -  I can only hope my skin looks that good when I'm her age!!

    What a FANTASTIC set! I love them all, I can't decide on a favorite. I too have been taking lots of web shots these days. *sigh* Fall!

    Love the stairs shot...very subtle color, tons of texture with a punch of color from the railing. The colors and lighting in your clouds photo is breathtaking. But my fav is the smile photo. What a lovely capture of your mom! It makes for a lovely portrait. Beautifully done :)

    Wear a hat like her and you'll likely continue to look as lovely as you do today! Our Moms were taught by their Moms and ... if we'd only listened a little more. lol!
