Scavenger Hunt Sunday

It's good to be back this week . . .

I had every intention of participating last weekend, but
it was Easter, and I couldn't quite make it work, so I just didn't sweat it.

Hope you have all had a fabulous week, here we go . . .

{Simple}

Can't get any simpler than nature . .  .

{Grain}

A grain of salt, the grain of wood, yep those would probably be more interesting than these grains of
sand from the long jump pit with a blown out ISO (to add some more graininess of course, ha), but hey
there is some nice bokeh! I missed my son's long jump because of an accident that left us in a stand still for an hour, and as luck would have it by the time they got to the triple jump it was too dark to capture any action. But he did qualify 8th in district and had his personal best in both jumps! Yeah!

{Transportation}

Sometimes you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, only to end up in the right place at the right time. Especially when you've wanted to capture something but weren't quite sure what the right time was. Don't worry, I think I just confused myself too . . . my daughter and I had set out with a nice sunny sky to go watch the sunset, only to arrive at our destination and it was completely overcast. Oh, but to everything there is a season, or reason and that is so I could capture this  . . .

{Stitch}

I have had beach on the brain this week....so I got out my crochet hook and some wire and some shell beads
and crocheted a choker necklace.

{Bubbles}

Bubbles, tiny bubbles suspended in oil and water . . . I had originally seen this in one of my photography books and have been experimenting with it for several weeks. Come back next week, I will be sharing my experience and a tutorial on how I did this. Warning, it's a little addicting.... ; )

I missed seeing everyone's interpretations last week, so without hesitation
I'm going to go see what you all shot (with your camera)!

Love, Kim
XO
