Popping in to say hi and hoping all is well with you!

I know, you'll just have to pop on over to check it out.

  1. Hi, too, and - YES - all is well with me. Thank you for your concern. ;-)

Your macro of the dragon fly is superbly taken. Is there a big difference with or without the texture? Without knowing that you reworked your photo with a texture I would have said: great(natural) shot.
    Enjoy a great Tuesday,
    Uwe.

  6. I haven't decided if this motivates me to pursue my desire to get dragonfly shots this summer...or just give up and look longingly at yours!!! In other words...wow - amazing shot!

  12. How in the world do you get a dragonfly to "pose" for you like this?? Wonderful, Kim.

  13. What a fabulous image! I love the centered composition which gives it an abstract feel - at first glance, we aren't quite sure what we are looking at and then when it becomes clear, it is a pleasant shock of recognition. Don't know how you captured this but I love it!

  15. Such wonderful detail in this shot. I've seen a few dragonflies around our house lately but none have landed long enough to photograph them. Bummer.

  16. That is an amazing shot of the dragon fly!! I've only had a couple stop by, several years ago. Maybe they will come back this year.
