Whimsical Flower Card
I am so excited and honored to have be invited as a contributing artist for the
The Painted Paper Project™ , with Sandi Keene and Rae Missigman. It's a project for
creating and spreading more joy, sending a little sunshine and happy to mailboxes
everywhere. What could be more joyful than an "art to heart kindness movement?" Come and
join us, it's FREE! Just click the link above to sign up.
This is my contributing project and I hope you enjoy it, and all the other fabulous projects!
Note: In the project I used Khadi handmade watercolor paper (150gms) but any watercolor paper will work. The handmade paper just has more texture to it and I love the deckled edges. You can get similar edges by tearing regular watercolor paper, just experiment.
P.S - Some people have said they can't find the video (which I promise is here) and it may be the device you are viewing this with) and am not sure why, so I am adding a link below to the video and I sure hope this helps. Also blogger keeps changing things and for some reason I can no longer directly reply to comments when I get them, so sorry!
Click here to take you to the video on YouTube if you cannot see the video on this page.
Kim- I love this! How Fun! It's so much more than a card - its a booklet. So creative. Thanks you for participating in the Painted Paper Project.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful process and finished project!!!!
ReplyDeleteKim, this is so exciting! I can’t wait to watch this. I can finally paint with you. Love you, Kim!

Hi. I have tried several things but I can't find the video.
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn, I just checked on bloggers and it's still right here on the page so I'm not sure why you can't find it. If by chance you followed the link above to The Painted Paper Project on popupartclasses you need to sign up to see it on their website, but it is free and there are more amazing projects...the sign up ends soon but you would have unlimited access. The other thing you can try if none of that works is search Kim Steven's on youtube. I sure hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteThank you so much. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find it on the blog either. I finally found it by searching whimsical flower card on YouTube. Beautiful. Thanks so much!
