There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, "Thy will be done,"
and those who say, "All right then, have it your way."
- C.S. Lewis
I'm working on being that first person. It's hard. I'm trying to listen, I'm trying.
Trying to reflect God's will with as little ripples in the water as possible.
Sometimes It's just hard.
Have a great Monday -
Love, Kim

Lovely thoughts and photo.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, it is hard.
ReplyDeleteWell that is a brillant image & I love how you mirrored it.
ReplyDeleteI really love the quote too... and YES, it is hard!! Have a lovely week (it's Tuesday very early morning here).
beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteInteresting editing, Kim. You are so creative. :)
ReplyDeleteThat C S Lewis always had wise things to say. Love the quote and that beautiful image is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT work Kim..... very well done.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
I like how you edited this Kim and probably the best thing to do is to pray and give that burden to Jesus to carry for you. None of us like those large ripples coming into our lives........I hope yours stay as little ripples.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those times where the blur makes the picture. It turned out beautifully. I can certainly relate to what you were saying. I have started prefacing everything I say as...”if be Your will.” At 73 I am finally BEGINNING to realize that I do not have much control over anything...only how I act towards and treat others and myself. genie
ReplyDeleteThat is a dilemma. I would like to think that I am of the first type, but it is more likely that I am of the latter. Thank you for making me think today, Miss Kim!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Erin
Your quote has started my mind ticking just as much as your clever photo has.
ReplyDeleteLove the mirror effect of this image, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful and interesting picture. It makes me think it twice, I like it:)
ReplyDeleteYup, I'm trying to work on that first person too, but that second person is around a lot more than the first! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful photograph Kim. Beautiful reflection!
Thank you so much for sharing with us today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a great evening!

Absolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am on the same path right now, and WOW it is amazing what we can learn if we listen and are open!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous photo.
ReplyDeleteLove that quote, and your image is gorgeous as always. Have a wonderful week friend!
ReplyDeleteYou said it sista! :) And I like how the photo, the blur...you can't tell which end is up...which is so appropriate too :). Happy Valentine's Day my friend.
